While you’re likely to find a four-legged colleague at either Banyan office on any given day, today is an official holiday of sorts: the 17th annual Take Your Dog to Work Day®.
And because we’ll use any excuse to give our furry friends a shout-out, we figured now is as good a time as any to take you behind-the-scenes of what it means to be “dog friendly.”
Because if you ask them, it’s not easy being a Banyanite!
To begin with, it’s impossible to find a decent place to nap.
It can be really boring when the humans insist on actually working…
But it can be just as tricky to keep an eye on them when they start to move around.
We work them like, well, dogs (I mean, that tongue isn’t hanging out for no reason…).
And coworkers can be soooo annoying.
Though at the end of the day, it’s not hard to find someone willing to take all of the credit. Because we wouldn’t be the award-winning company we are today without them telling us what to do.
Happy Take Your Dog to Work Day®! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
